A cleaner, more focused GoSimpleProject

We've made a significant change to how the platform is structured — and while it happens mostly under the hood, you'll feel it immediately when you log in.

Personal workspaces are gone. From now on, GoSimpleProject is built entirely around your companies. Every feature — invoicing, accounting, time tracking, projects, expenses, budgets — lives inside a company. There's no longer a separate "personal" layer running alongside it.

What changed
Onboarding — New users are now asked to choose their language the moment they sign up, before anything else. Your preferred language is then applied across the entire platform from day one.

The dashboard — The company overview is now a clean three-column layout. The cards you see are the ones that matter: financials, projects, time, team. The personal spending tracker and personal expense log that used to sit alongside your business data are gone.

Navigation — The sidebar no longer switches context between personal and business modes. Every item in the menu belongs to the company you're working in.

Todos — Personal todos have been replaced with company todos, attached directly to your company. They're shared with your team and live where the work actually happens.

Invoicing and projects — The client selector on projects is always visible now. There's no longer a distinction between "personal projects" and "business projects" — every project belongs to a company and can have a client.

Team pages — These are now available for all companies, without exception.

Why we made this change
GoSimpleProject started with the idea that you might want to track both personal finances and business finances in one place. In practice, that created confusion — two different modes, two different layouts, features that only appeared depending on which "type" of entity you were in.

The businesses using GoSimpleProject don't need a personal layer. They need a platform that's clear, consistent, and focused. Every screen should behave the same way. Every feature should be where you expect it.

Removing the personal workspace makes the platform significantly simpler to navigate, easier to learn for new team members, and faster to work in day to day.
